Brigandine: Abyss Demo Coming to Consoles, Limited Edition Revealed

NIS America announced that it will be releasing a console demo for strategy RPG Brigandine: Abyss. The console demo, which joins the PC demo currently available through Steam, will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 on July 30, 2026. The demo lets players go through the first two seasons of the Gran Dragnica and Scarlet Will story campaigns, though save data cannot be transferred to the full release.

In addition, NIS America revealed that the game’s physical Limited Edition is available to pre-order now through its online store on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. The edition is priced at $99.99 and includes a copy of the game (disc for PS5, Game-Key card for Switch 2), a collector’s box, a hardcover art book, the original CD soundtrack, a set of acrylic character stands, a faction symbol pin set, and a cloth map. The game will release worldwide on PC via Steam on August 26 (August 27 in Japan), 2026, and for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 on August 27, 2026.

Brigandine: Abyss follows the 2020 revival of the series through Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia. The game is set in a brand-new world where hundreds of years prior, the Abyssloa Empire was stopped by the power of the arcane Brigandine. However, a new empire rises, seeking to conquer the world. The game offers six different story campaigns as they attempt to stand against the empire while managing their resources. In addition to the story campaigns, the game also features a Missions Mode, which lets players control one of twenty-four factions, each with their own win conditions.
