Entropy Coming to Steam Early Access in August, Demo Available

Developer Lovely Hellplace and publisher DreadXP announced that tactical turn-based RPG Entropy will release on Steam Early Access on August 18, 2026. The dark fantasy title is expected to spend around a year in Early Access, with its initial version planned to include the first of its three acts. In addition, a demo is now available on Steam that lets players try out its opening hours.

Entropy is billed as being inspired by classic JRPGs and retains the late 90s 3D aesthetic of the Lovely Hellplace’s previous title Dread Delusion. The game is set in a dying age, where humanity has been reduced to small pockets largely ruled by individual tyrants between barren lands as the world turns infertile. Players control a member of a threatre group in the town of Draenog, where their performance is interrupted by a demon attack. Players gather up their troupe to defend themselves before embarking on an adventure to spot the demonic forces. They control a party of up to six members, with fallen party members able to be replaced by mercenaries, as they explore the game’s open world and its various towns.
