Demons’ Night Fever Releasing Later This Year

Arc System Works announced that “speedrun-training simulation RPG” Demons’ Night Fever is coming to PC (via Steam), PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch later this year. The game is being developed by Drecom, with production supervised by SuperNiche, founded by former Nippon Ichi Software president and Disgaea creator Sohei Niikawa. A new 90-second gameplay trailer can be viewed below.

Demons’ Night FeverĀ follows the exploits of Giga Super Death. The most wicked Devil of all, he was one step away from killing God but suddenly transformed into a helpless baby. He is able to activate his “Demons’ Night Fever” resurrection program, forming a pact with a young man named Killshiro Katanaka, who despises the world. The pair set out to unleash evil on the world, with a story that features rapidly changing situations between each chapter.

The game includes the Peon Exploitation System combat mechanic, which encourages players to sacrifice their own allies. The more underlings are killed, the stronger they can reincarnate. Players earn Perverse Points by committing misdeeds, which they can use to build their army.
