RPG Cast – Episode 810: “Steampunk Ys Metroidvania”

by · Published · Updated

Kelley is here to introduce the new Home Maintenance ‘Cast. Matt is finally freed from the drudgery of the Atelier gauntlet, but is now avoiding all the games… because they’re SaGa. Andi is enjoying the bonus bleeps from Chris across the room. Oh, and there’s another person we can’t give a boat to.

Question of the Week
Is this the expansion that gets you into (or returning to) FF14?

We absolutely have Chuck Tingle! 🙂 I haven’t read any of his stuff yet either but I want to… just need to be in the headspace!

Thank you again for the love! I hope to be sane after this week! <3

It won’t be the expansion specifically but the Switch 2 version that gets me to try FFXIV (insert updated free trial copypasta here) since people I trust have said it’s a top-tier single player FF story.

FFXIV coming to the Switch 2 makes it somewhat more likely I could try it out, but I doubt it. MMOs aren’t my thing. I haven’t even tried out Phantasy Star Online 2, despite loving PSO Episodes I & II.

I’ve played all the FFXIV I need. Now, FFXI on the other hand…
