Hades II Coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S in April

Supergiant Games announced that it will be releasing action RPG Hades II on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game — which launched for PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2 last year — will release on the consoles on April 14, 2026.

Hades II and its predecessor are inspired by Greek mythology, particularly its underworld. The game takes place some time after the previous game, though no knowledge of its events will be required. Players control Melinoë, the immortal Princess of the Underworld and sister of previous protagonist Zagreus, as she faces off against the Titan Chronos’s forces. The game won RPGamer’s Best Action RPG award for 2025.
