Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Demo Available on Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S

Square Enix released a free demo for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S. The demo, which comes ahead of the game’s release on both consoles next month, lets players go through the game’s opening bombing mission chapter. Players are able to transfer their save data to the full game, and those with save data from the demo will also receive the in-game “Revival Earrings” and “Survival Set” bonus items in the full game.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will release for Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S on January 22, 2026. Intergrade is an upgraded version of Final Fantasy VII Remake, which originally released for PlayStation 4 in 2020, with the Intergrade version released for PlayStation 5 and PC in 2021. Following mercenary Cloud Strife as he works with resistance group Avalanche, Final Fantasy VII Remake follows events up to the “Escape from Midgar” section of the original Final Fantasy VII, with some additional and reworked story elements as well as new mini-games and other content. The second part in the planned Remake trilogy, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, is currently available on PlayStation 5 and PC.
