Not a huge horror fan but don’t hate it, and Halloween is when I do like watching a scary movie. Or starting a scary game – thoroughly creeped myself out playing Corpse Party one year. Also love dressing up, provided I’ve got decent inspiration. Trick or treating is less my thing, although it’s cute when neighbouring kids visit.
Peak Halloween, though, is carving a good Jack o’lantern or two, then setting them out with candles inside. That’s the good stuff.
I most enjoy decorating the house for Halloween, sometimes buying some new ones if any of the old ones are too degraded to use. I carved a neat jack-o-lantern this year and intend to dress up in easy cosplay (Natsuko from the anime Zenshu) on Halloween itself.
My favorite tradition is handing out candy.. It is always enjoyable to see the costumes and smiling faces. Unfortunately since I work at night I don’t get to do it that often.
