Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DAIMA DLC Gameplay Trailer Released

Bandai Namco released a new trailer for action RPG Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot‘s newest DLC, DAIMA: Adventure Through the Demon Realm Part 1, ahead of its release later this month. The three-and-a-half-minute introduction video introduces the DLC’s story and gameplay elements.

DAIMA: Adventure Through the Demon Realm is based on the Dragon Ball DAIMA animated series that takes place between the events of Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super. It follows Goku (Mini) and his friends Glorio, Supreme Kai, and Panzy’s journey through the Third Demon Realm and includes the Power Pole technique unique to Goku (Mini) Super Saiyan. The first of its two planned parts will release for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on July 17, 2025, with the second part planned to follow in early 2026. A bundle containing both parts is available to pre-order for $34.99.

Developed by CyberConnect2, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is a retelling of Dragon Ball Z, a manga and anime series centered on Kakarot, more commonly known as Goku. The game released worldwide in January 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch version following in 2021 and dedicated PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions released in January 2023.
