MAGES. has announced The Quintessential Princesses: Fantasy, the Abyss, and the Magic Academy. The game is a dungeon-crawling RPG based on romantic comedy manga and anime series The Quintessential Quintuplets. It is planned to release in Japan for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on September 18, 2025.

While the main series is set in a modern-day Japan, The Quintessential Princesses takes place in a fantasy world. It sees magic academy student Futaro Uesugi given a job as a private tutor to his quintuplet classmates, the daughters of a wealthy noble serving the royal family, who are on the verge of failing their studies. The game features a main storyline as well as individual character storylines, as well as dungeon exploration; turn-based battles; and training elements where players raise character stats, customise magic wands, synthesise items, etc.
