Poker-Based Roguelike RPG Hero’s Hand Announced

Villain Games HQ has announced “poker-based roguelike RPG adventure” Hero’s Hand. The game is planned to release for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch sometime in 2026. It is available to wishlist now on Steam.

Hero’s Hand sees players becoming the Knight of Spades and trying to save the land of Cardunia. Players face off against foes by moving across boards of cards to build poker hands that deal damage. The game features eight themed worlds with procedurally-generated maps to journey between as players grow stronger with each run and advance a story involving comedic encounters and boss showdowns, with many foes inspired by those of Dungeons & Dragons.
