Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn Gets Story Trailer, Demo Available

Developer A44 Games and publisher Kepler Interactive revealed a new trailer for their upcoming action RPG Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn. The over-three-minute-long video shows protagonist Nor and her companion Enki confronting major antagonists, while providing further details about the game’s story.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is set in a world where the Door to the Afterlife has opened, allowing an old god’s undead army to escape. As humanity is pushed to the brink of extinction, a coalition army forms to take back the world using gunpowder and magic. The game sees protagonist Nor and her mystical companion Enki travelling across deserts, ruins, and the City of Dawn, to gather a team of explosive and weapon experts for the final siege.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is set to launch on July 18, 2024, for PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with pre-orders presently available. The game is currently discounted by 10% on Steam for those purchasing it before July 25, 2024. Meanwhile, a demo is also available on Steam.

In addition, a physical Deluxe Edition of Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is available to pre-order for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 from select retailers via Maximum Entertainment. The Deluxe Edition includes a physical copy, digital soundtrack, digital artbook, DLC cosmetic content for Nor in addition to the Champions Pistol and Champions Axe.

Fascinated by the screens since I saw them, video games are a sorcery I quickly become obsessed with. This passion culminated with the discovery of the RPGs. At that time, they were likely the sole titles where story and world building mattered as much as gameplay. Now, I am writing about them, especially my favorite ones: the JRPGs!
