Waven Given Early Access Release

Developer Ankama has released its tactical multiplayer RPG Waven as an early access title on PC and Mac. The game is available as a free-to-play title through Steam and the Ankama Launcher, though paid Founder’s Packs are available to purchase. It is planned to fully release in late 2023 or early 2024 for PC, Mac, iOS, and Android. Details about the contents of the early access release can be found on the game’s website.

Waven is the latest title from the studio behind Dofus and Wakfu, and is set in the same Krosmoz universe as its previous titles. The game is set many years after the previous titles, with the world having suffered a cataclysmic flood that has left all but a selection of islands underwater. Players create a character to explore the various islands and the four established nations built around them. The game has a mixture of turn-based combat, deckbuilding elements, and exploration of its world.
