Dungeonborne Playtest Underway

Developer and publisher Mithril Interactive is currently holding a playtest for its upcoming action RPG Dungeonborne. Those willing to take part in this test can request access on the game’s Steam page. The company plans to release the title on Steam Early Access later this month after the playtest concludes.

Dungeonborne takes place in a dark fantasy world, where players are tasked with exploring dungeons via a first-person perspective solo or in co-op multiplayer online. The game is billed as a “punishing yet challenging” PvPvE, with the developer citing titles such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, World of Warcraft, and For Honor as inspirations. Its Early Access version will feature eight classes for the player to choose from, each with its own abilities and playstyle.

Fascinated by the screens since I saw them, video games are a sorcery I quickly became obsessed with. This passion culminated with the discovery of the RPGs. At that time, they were likely the sole titles where story and world building mattered as much as gameplay. Now, I am writing about them, especially my favorite ones: the JRPGs!
