Riviera: The Promised Land International PC Release Announced
Developer Sting announced that its PC release for tactical RPG Riviera: The Promised Land will be available internationally. The game will release on Steam on July 17, 2024, with a 20% launch discount for its first two weeks on sale. The PC release, which follows Japan-only releases on Nintendo Switch and mobile platforms, will include English and Japanese voice overs, background music selection options, a high-speed mode, an auto-save, and more.
Riviera: The Promised Land is the first title in the Dept. Heaven series, which draws from Norse mythology, and was originally released for the WonderSwan Color in Japan in 2002. It was later ported to Game Boy Advance and PlayStation Portable; the Game Boy Advance version was released in North America, while the PlayStation Portable version was released in North America and Europe. The game follows Ein, a Grim Angel who is required to battle against demons as well as other Grim Angels. He is joined by heroines Fia, Lina, Serene, and Cierra, as well as feline familiar Rose, with the game including dating sim elements and multiple endings.
