Riviera: The Promised Land International Switch Release Announced

Sting announced that it will be releasing the Nintendo Switch version of Riviera: The Promised Land internationally. The game will launch on the console on November 28, 2024, priced at $34.99. Pre-orders are available now with a 15% launch discount that will be available until December 5, 2024. The Nintendo Switch version — which released in Japan earlier this year — follows the PC international release in July. Both the PC and Switch versions include English and Japanese voice overs, background music selection options, a high-speed mode, an auto-save, and more.

Riviera: The Promised Land is the first title in the Dept. Heaven series, which draws from Norse mythology, and was originally released for the WonderSwan Color in Japan in 2002. It was later ported to Game Boy Advance and PlayStation Portable; the Game Boy Advance version was released in North America, while the PlayStation Portable version was released in North America and Europe. The game follows Ein, a Grim Angel who is required to battle against demons as well as other Grim Angels. He is joined by heroines Fia, Lina, Serene, and Cierra, as well as feline familiar Rose, with the game including dating sim elements and multiple endings.
