Grandia HD Collection Coming to PS4, Xbox One This Month

Publisher GungHo Online Entertainment has announced that Grandia HD Collection will be released digitally for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 26, 2024. Both versions will be compatible with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, respectively. Physical editions of the collection will also be released and will be available to pre-order via Limited Run Games on March 15, 2024, for $34.99.

Grandia HD Collection contains remasters of the first two games in the series featuring enhanced visuals, English and Japanese voice acting options, and the addition of a hard mode. Grandia follows the adventures of a young boy named Justin, along with his companions, as they hope to beat the evil Garlyle Forces in a race to uncover the lost secrets of an ancient civilization. Grandia II puts players in the role of a mercenary, Ryudo, who is hired to protect a young songstress, Elena, as they begin their quest on behalf of the church to rid the world of the god of darkness, Valmar. Both remasters are currently available for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.

I have been gaming since I received the Sega Master System as a young child, which was the first console I ever owned (Yes, I am that old). The game that got me into RPGs was Final Fantasy VIII, a game that I still adore to this day. My favorite RPG of all time, however, is Shadow Hearts on the PS2. I do have many other interests outside of gaming as well, such as watching old-school wrestling, Reading books, 80s movies.... or anything 80s related as a matter of fact.
