Broken Roads Unveils Surveyor Origin

Publisher tinyBuild and developer Drop Bear Bytes revealed a new trailer for the upcoming RPG Broken Roads. This video introduces the story of the Surveyor, which is one of the four available player origins. The Surveyor is an avid explorer, who learned from young age about plants, animals, and constellations. They make a living thanks to their discoveries that are valuable in a world reshaped after an apocalyptic occurrence known as the “fall”.

Broken Roads is set in a post-apocalyptic Western Australia and follows a group of companions as they travel across the region making allies, battling enemies, and investigating strange goings-on. The game features real-time exploration with turn-based combat and a hand-drawn art style, as well as character development built around four philosophies: Humanist, Utilitarian, Machiavellian, and Nihilist. Broken Roads will launch on April 10, 2024, for PC (via Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, with a Nintendo Switch release following later.
