Jagged Alliance 3’s Version 1.5 Released

Developer Haemimont Games and publisher THQ Nordics announced version 1.5 of the strategy RPG Jagged Alliance 3 is available. This update, codenamed Larry, allows the players to alter various parameters of the story campaign through ten rules. These rules make it possible to confront more enemies, change the leveling up rate, reduce the starting salary of certain units, and more. In addition, version 1.5 also comes with modding tools allowing players to create new campaigns and quests, editing maps, and much more.

Jagged Alliance 3 released for PC (via GOG.com and Steam) in July 2023 with PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S versions released in November 2023. A demo version is currently available on Steam. The game features new RPG elements for the series, including character levels, perks, loot, and equipment. Its campaign sees players fighting for control over territories, training local forces, and establishing multiple squads as they control a mercenary force in the country of Grand Chien, which is in chaos following the rise of a brutal regime known as the Legion.

Fascinated by the screens since I saw them, video games are a sorcery I quickly become obsessed with. This passion culminated with the discovery of the RPG. At the time, they were likely the sole titles where story and world building mattered as more as gameplay. Now, I am, writing about them, especially my favorite ones, the JRPG!
