Persona 5 Tactica Details Quests, New Game+
Atlus released new details and English screenshots for the upcoming Persona 5 Tactica. The latest information covers the tactical RPG spin-offs quests, stage replays and challenges, and New Game+ mode.
As players go through the game, they will unlock various quests. These will involve stages with their own mechanics and challenges, and have their own story elements. Some will see players wiping out enemies in a single turn, move an item to the goal, or be surrounded with explosives on the battlefield. Completing these quests will grant GP, which can be used to unlock powerful skills, as well as offering other rewards like the ability to create certain powerful Personas.
Players will be able to replay any cleared stages when they wish, earning the same rewards as when they originally completed it. Each stage also has three bonus challenges, such as clearing the stage within a certain number of turns or without having any characters knocked out, to earn extra rewards.
After completing the game, players will be able to start a New Game+. This lets players carry over their Persona Compendium, unlocked fusions, money, weapons, and more into the game, letting players try and fully complete their Persona Compendium or play on a higher difficulty. Those who do start a New Game+ will be given access to numerous pieces of special artwork within the game’s Report menu.
Persona 5 Tactica sees the Phantom Thieves transported to another world, where they team up with the revolutionary Erina to fight the oppressive Legionnaires. The game will use a tactical combat system incorporating many of Persona 5’s combat elements, including the Baton Pass and Persona skills. The game is set to release on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch worldwide on November 17, 2023.
