Current Gen Updates of The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 Delayed

CD Projekt RED announced that the updates planned for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Cyberpunk 2077 are being delayed. Originally set to release in 2021, the update for Cyberpunk 2077 is now set to release in the first quarter of 2022, and the update for The Witcher 3 is now set for the second quarter of 2022. These updates are also set to come to PC.

Originally released in 2015 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is one of the most critically-acclaimed games of the generation and it was RPGamer’s 2015 Game of the Year. Cyberpunk 2077 released on the same platforms in 2020 to a more mixed reception due to numerous technical issues.
