Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Previews Dondoko Island Mode

Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio released a new trailer for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth previewing its Dondoko Island mode. Dondoko Island lies just off shore of Honolulu, and there Ichiban can enjoy a host of side activities including cleaning up the island, building and customizing a home, and entertaining island visitors. This cozy side-mode recalls genre favorites like Animal Crossing, but with a unique Like a Dragon twist.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is the latest installment of Sega’s long-running Yakuza franchise, and the second turn-based RPG following 2020’s Yakuza: Like a Dragon. The game sees protagonist Ichiban traveling to Hawaii in search of his mother, only to get involved over his head against a criminal enterprise once again. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth will release worldwide on January 26, 2024, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
