New Capes Demo Available Now

Daedalic Entertainment and Spitfire Interactive have released a new demo for superhero tactical RPG Capes. The demo is available for PC on Steam. It features new improvements and features over the previous demo including a fast-forward options, quicksaves, three difficulty setting, improved cinematics, full English voice-overs, additional language support, and more. To go with the new demo, the companies released the first in a new series of “Meet the Heroes” videos.

Capes is the debut title from Spitfire Interactive, a studio set up by key members of Hand of Fate series developer Defiant Development. It is set after supervillains emerged victorious and turned the city into a dystopia where developing superpowers is considered a crime. However, a new generation of heroes is ready to try and fight back. Players recruit and train heroes while taking on missions across the city, as well as learning the histories behind the various heroes and villains in the game.

Capes is currently planned to release in early 2024 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Those looking to read more about the game can check out Ryan Costa’s impression from this year’s PAX West.
