Fairy Fencer F: Refrain Chord Opening Movie Released

Compile Heart has released the opening movie for the upcoming Fairy Fencer F: Refrain Chord. The video introduces the tactical RPG’s main cast and features the theme song “Prayer tone” performed by Yui Ishikawa, who voices the character Fleur.

Fairy Fencer F: Refrain Chord is being developed in partnership with studio Sting. The game is set in a world where characters called Divas are able to utilise the powers of song for various effects including healing and brainwashing. It is not clear at this point if or how the story in Refrain Chord is connected to previous title Fairy Fencer F and its enhanced release Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force. Fairy Fencer F: Refrain Chord is set to release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch in Japan on September 15, 2022. A western release has not been announced at this time.
