Welcome to the latest edition of RPGamer’s round-up column, where we look back at some of the articles that we have posted over the previous week. This article is designed to give reminders of some interesting content and stories that our readers might have missed.

Marvel’s most recent delve into the world of RPGs comes from the tactical experts at Firaxis Games. Zack Webster reports that rather than just making a rebranded XCOM clone, the team has made a distinct and worthwhile experience.

Wartales promises an epic adventure without magic or other mystical monsters. Phil Willis takes a deep look to see if it can go the distance.


Major News

Square Enix announced a worldwide release date for Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai. The company also marked the 25th anniversary of the Dragon Quest Monsters spin-off series and revealed that a new title is currently in development.

Skybound Entertainment and Mega Cat Studios revealed a new August release date for WrestleQuest. Meanwhile, a new trailer shows some of the wrestling legends players will be able to team up with.

While those waiting for Front Mission 2: Remake have to wait a bit longer, more are getting the opportunity to play Front Mission 1st’s remake. The game will hit PC and more consoles at the end of this month.

Shiravune announced that Dungeon Travelers 2 and Dungeon Travelers 2-2 will release on PC next week. As previously noted, they will not be on Steam due to issues regarding certain content.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Justice was announced alongside the new Meta Quest 3 VR headset. The virtual reality first-person adventure RPG will also be coming to PlayStation VR2 later this year.
