Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader Gets Features Trailer, Beta

Owlcat Games released a new trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader. The two-minute features trailer gives a quick overview of the eponymous Rogue Traders, revealing a new companion — the Space Wolf Ulfar — as well as showing party combat and ship combat, plus some of the other threats players will face.

In addition, Owlcat Games revealed that the game’s beta will be available on June 1, 2023. It will be available to all those who have pre-purchased the game and grants access to the prologue and the first three chapters. Progress from previous versions of the game will not transfer to subsequent versions.

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader sees players leading a ship of personnel as they explore the dangerous Koronus Expanse, making decisions that will have ripple effects throughout the universe. Unlike Owlcat’s previous Pathfinder games, Rogue Trader will only have turn-based combat. The game is currently in development for PC though a release window has not been announced.
