Ecumene Aztec Announced

Developer Giantscraft announced survival action RPG Ecumene Aztec. The game is set in a dense Mesoamerican city and sees players fighting off the conquistadors invading the Aztec Empire. It is in development for PC with a 2025 launch window and can be wishlisted on Steam now.

Ecumene Aztec lets players choose one of three classes — Jaguar, Eagle, and Snake — as they explore the city and its jungle surroundings, making use of stealth and traps to take on the invaders. It features a responsive climbing system, and those in need of extra help can make a blood sacrifice and utilise gifts from the gods.
