Amazon Games Working on The Lord of the Rings MMO

Amazon Games announced it has signed an agreement with Embracer Group to produce a new The Lord of the Rings MMO. The title is being created by Amazon Games’ Orange County studio, which developed New World.

No details about the game has been revealed at this stage, including an official title. It will utilise the Azoth Engine behind New World. A release window has not been announced, though Amazon Games stated the game is planned for release on PC and unspecified consoles.
