Live A Live Remake Hitting PC, PlayStation Next Month

Square Enix announced that its remake of Super Famicom RPG Live A Live will release on PC (via Steam), PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The remake — initially released on Nintendo Switch in 2022 — will release for the new platforms on April 27, 2023, priced at $49.99. A 20% discount is available on Steam until May 11, 2023, as well as to PS Plus members who pre-order the game on the PlayStation Store. A free demo is available to download now from Steam and the PlayStation Store, which grants access to the opening sections of three of the game’s stories.

Live A Live features a turn-based combat system and eight main scenarios that can be played in any order, with each including its own gameplay gimmicks. The remake utilises the HD-2D graphical style used in Octopath Traveler and Triangle Strategy.
