Wild Hearts Faces the Golden Tempest

EA and Koei Tecmo released a new gameplay trailer for action RPG Wild Hearts. The five-minute video shows a fight against the Golden Tempest, a nature-infused tiger with the power to call upon the wind. It also shows some of the Karakuri, ancient technology that players can use in a variety of ways, as well as the Claw Blade, Cannon, and Karakuri Staff weapons.

Developed by Koei Tecmo’s Omega Force studio, Wild Hearts takes place in a world inspired by feudal Japan that is beset by magically-infused beasts known as Kemono. Their presence is destroying the land and players are tasked with restoring the balance of nature. Players will do so by combating them solo or in teams of up to three. The game is set to be released for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on February 17, 2023, and will feature cross-play across all platforms.
