Wartales Adds Co-op Mode

Developer and publisher Shiro Unlimited has released a new update for its Steam Early Access version of tactical RPG Wartales. The update adds a new co-op mode for up to four players to the game, where players control their own mercenary warband.

Wartales takes place in the remnants of the Edoran Empire, which still suffer from the effects of a plague one hundred years earlier. Players attempt to survive the cutthroat world by recruiting mercenaries and taking on dangerous missions to pay the bills. The game, which has been in Early Access since 2021, features turn-based combat with the open world planned to allow for creative solutions to combat.
