Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road of Heroes Gets Gameplay Video

Level-5 released a new gameplay video for Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road of Heroes, the latest title in its football/soccer RPG series. The three-minute video showcases the game’s basic football match controls and options on Nintendo Switch — including touchscreen and gamepad-style controls plus landscape and portrait view modes — before showing some of the familiar special moves usable by players.

Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road of Heroes was originally announced as Inazuma Eleven Ares in 2016 before undergoing major planed story changes resulting in its new title. Victory Road of Heroes is planned to have two separate game modes. The first is its original story mode, which stars new protagonist Unmei Sasanami. The other is a “Chronicle Mode” where players will build up a team featuring characters from across the Inazuma Eleven series as the title was initially envisioned. The game is in development for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android, with more information expected in February 2023.
