Steelrising Beta Available for Pre-orders

Publisher NACON and developer Spiders announced that a beta version of action RPG Steelrising is now available to those who have pre-ordered the game. The beta includes two replayable areas — Saint Cloud and Les Invalides — and lets players try out different character builds and weapons. Meanwhile, a new trailer shows some of the Parisian landmarks players will visit during the game.

Steelrising is set in 1789 in an alternate version of the French Revolution, where King Louis XVI has an army of clockwork automatons at his command, which are are rampaging the city of Paris, sparing none while crushing the insurrection. Players control Aegis, a former dancing automation now acting as Queen Marie Antoinette’s bodyguard, trying to stop the bloodshed at the Queen’s command. Steelrising will release for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on September 8, 2022.
