Something Wicked Games Teases Wyrdsong

Something Wicked Games released a teaser for its debut title, Wyrdsong. The game is billed as “preternatural open world AAA RPG” though neither platforms nor a potential release window has been announced. Initial funding for the development has been supplied by NetEase.

Something Wicked Games is being led by Jeff Gardiner, who previously worked at Bethesda Softworks as Lead Producer on Fallout 4 and multiple The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion DLC, as well as Project Lead for Fallout 76 and Producer for Fallout 3. The studio is also said to include veterans from other studios such as BioWare and Obsidian Entertainment, including co-founder Charles Staples, who worked at Obsidian Entertainment as Design Director on The Outer Worlds and as Lead Level Designer on Fallout: New Vegas.
