Dragon Quest X Offline Gets New Trailer

Square Enix released a new Japanese trailer for Dragon Quest X: Rise of the Five Tribes Offline, its upcoming single-player version of MMORPG Dragon Quest X. The five-minute video introduces its playable characters and shows an assortment of gameplay features.

Dragon Quest X: Rise of the Five Tribes Offline will release in Japan on September 15, 2022, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. Its first expansion, Sleeping Hero and the Guiding Ally, is set for spring 2023. No announcement has been made regarding a possible western release for Dragon Quest X Offline.

In addition, Square Enix marked the imminent tenth anniversary of Dragon Quest X’s original Japanese Wii release with a commemoration video and the announcement of a new bundle release. The Dragon Quest X Online All In One Package Version 1-6 will release in Japan on October 20, 2022, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. It includes the base game plus all five of the MMORPG’s expansions.
