Biomutant Details PS5 and Xbox Series X|S Versions

THQ Nordic and Experiment 101 have announced the release date for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of Biomutant. Launching on September 6, 2022, the updated versions of the game will feature faster loading times, native 4K resolution, HDR support, and up to 60 frames per second and will retail for $39.99/€39.99/£34.99. Players who already own the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game will be able to upgrade for free to their respective successive consoles and carry over their saves.

The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X version of the game will feature three different modes with the following specifications:

  • Quality: 30 fps, 4K resolution
  • Quality Unleashed: 40+ fps average, up to 4K resolution
  • Performance: 60 fps locked, 1440p resolution

The Series S will have the same options as the Series X but with reduced resolutions. The PlayStation 5 version will also have additional DualSense features such as haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and motion control.
