Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising Ready for May

505 Games announced that sidescrolling action RPG Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising will release worldwide on May 10, 2022. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch for $14.99. It will also be available for PC and Xbox consoles through the Xbox Games Pass subscription service.

Developed by Natsume-Atari, Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is a companion title to upcoming tactical RPG Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. The game is set in the town of New Nevaeh, on the frontiers of the fantasy world of Allraan. A giant earthquake has revealed Runebarrows below the town, to which adventurers and merchants flock in the hope of finding treasure within.

The game features three main characters. Isha is the town’s deputy mayor and hopes to rebuild the town, while scavenger CJ and beastman mercenary Garoo are hoping to mine the Rune Lens, a source of magic. The three team up, and players are able to swap between them during combat, with each character having a different combat style. By gaining materials during their explorations, players can build up the town and potentially earn rewards in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes when it launches in 2023.
