Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Gets TGS Trailer, Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising Physical Release

505 Games and Rabbit & Bear Studios released a new trailer for Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes at this year’s Tokyo Game Show. The two-minute video highlights some of the game’s development staff, many of whom worked on the Suikoden series that Eiyuden Chronicle acts as a spiritual successor to, as well as introducing some of its main characters and showing gameplay elements.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is planned to release on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch in 2023. It is set in the world of Allraan, with its history shaped by magical items called rune-lenses. The Galdean Empire has emerged as the dominant power thanks to finding a technology that amplifies the rune-lenses, and it is now looking for an artefact that will enhance its power further.

In other news, specialist publisher Red Art Games announced a physical release for Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, the companion action RPG to Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. The edition is available to pre-order now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch through Red Art Games’ online store in Europe for €34.99 and through Video Games Plus in North America for C$44.99. It is planned to ship on January 26, 2023.
