French publisher NACON followed up its recent acquisition of Midgar Studio with news of another acquisition. The latest company to join the NACON umbrella is publisher and developer Daedalic Entertainment, which is primarily known for adventure games, but has worked on titles including Iratus: Lord of the Dead, The Long Journey Home, and Blackguards.

The deal for Daedalic Entertainment is valued at €53 million. The acquisition follows the previous announcement of a partnership between the two companies for the release of action adventure title The Lord of the Rings: Gollum.
