Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons Releasing End of This Month

ArenaNet announced that End of Dragons, the third expansion to MMORPG Guild Wars 2, will release for PC and Mac on February 28, 2022. The release date reveal comes with a new trailer highlighting the expansion’s main features.

End of Dragons is set on the continent of Cantha, which has been closed off from the outside world for over 200 years and is home to the oldest known human settlements as well as the powerful Empire of the Dragon. However, an event called the Jade Wind has disrupted the cycle of the dragons. The expansion will add nine new Elite Specializations for the game’s Professions (classes) as well as a new Siege Turtle combat mount, the first in the game that can be ridden by two players. End of Dragons will also add fishing to Guild Wars 2, while players will be able to use to their own personal skiff to travel the waters around Cantha.

Guild Wars 2 is set 250 years after the events of the original Guild Wars. It was originally released in 2012, with expansions Heart of Thorns and Path of Fire released in 2015 and 2017 respectively. The game and expansions are available as buy-to-play titles.
