Destiny 2: The Witch Queen Trailer Shows Savathûn’s Throne World

Bungie released a new trailer for The Witch Queen, the newest major expansion for online shooter RPG Destiny 2. The video shows Savathûn’s Throne World, a new location where player Guardians will fight against the Lucent Brood, hive-mind enemies that utilise the same Light-based powers as the Guardians.

The Witch Queen is the sixth major expansion for Destiny 2, which launched in 2017, and will be released on February 22, 2022, on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Google Stadia. Bungie has confirmed that at least two further expansions will follow, with Lightfall planned for later in 2022 and The Final Shape set for 2023.
