Paper Mario Arriving on Switch Online Next Week
Nintendo announced that Nintendo 64 title Paper Mario will be available on Nintendo Switch through the Switch Online subscription service on December 10, 2021. In order to access the game, players need to subscribe to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack option, which is available for $49.99 for a twelve month subscription that grants access to selected other titles released on NES, Super NES, and Nintendo 64.
Paper Mario was originally released in Japan in 2000 and in North America and Europe in 2001. It is the first game in the papercraft spin-off series and sees Mario attempting to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser, who has made himself invincible by stealing the Star Rod and using its power. Mario must negate the Star Rod’s power by finding the seven Star Spirits.
