Prinny Presents NIS Classics Vol. 2 Announced

NIS America has announced the second volume of its Prinny Presents NIS Classics remastered collections. The second volume will include tactical RPGs Z.H.P.: Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman and Makai Kingdom. The collection will release for PC and Nintendo Switch in spring 2022.

Z.H.P.: Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman was originally released for PlayStation Portable in 2010. The game sees players controlling a silent character who takes on the mantle of the Unlosing Ranger after the previous one is killed while rushing to confront the Darkdeath Evilman and save Japan. The new Unlosing Ranger trains up in an alternate version of Earth, home to randomly-generated dungeons.

Makai Kingdom was originally released for PlayStation 2 in 2005, with a PlayStation Portable version released in Japan in 2011. The game puts players in the role of the overlord Zetta, who tries to restore the Sacred Tome — a book that controls reality — after he burns it and has to seal himself inside to avoid his own destruction.

  1. Not a fan of Z.H.P but heck yeah! The Makai Kingdom PSP Port with the Bonus contend/campaign never officially seen in the West! *Prinny victory dance.gif goes here*

So what’s next? Vol. 3 with the PSP Port of La Pucelle Tactics (inc PSP Bonus campaign) and what else? Disgaea 3? Disgaea D2? I suppose a Disgaea Game in the collection is too out there because Disgaea Games are the most famous ones and could be sold separately….on the other hand, both mentioned Disgaeas are the only ones that haven’t been seen outside of the PS3 and PSNOW in the west….

Truly curious what (I hope WHEN not IF) Vol. 3 comes out they will include….all other properties from N1 are too out there for the west I think.
