Astria Ascending Trailer Shows J-Ster Mini-Game

Dear Villagers and Artisan Studio released a new trailer for Astria Ascending. The video shows the J-Ster strategic mini-game, which is billed as the game’s tribute to Final Fantasy’s Triple Triad and Tetra Master, and sees players aiming to steal their opponent’s tokens and expand their collectible army.

Astria Ascending puts players in control of the Demigods, a group of eight heroes tasked with saving the world from chaos. The game is a reimagining of Zodiac: Orcanon Odyssey, which was released for iOS in 2015, and features contributions from a number of Final Fantasy series veterans, including a narrative from Kazushige Nojima, art from Akihiko Yoshida and Hideo Minaba, and music from Hitoshi Sakimoto. Astria Ascending will release for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on September 30, 2021.
