Elden Ring to Release in January 2022

Bandai Namco and FromSoftware’s Elden Ring, which was announced during 2019’s E3, has a confirmed release date of January 21, 2022. The game will be releasing for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The release date trailer with gameplay footage can be viewed below.

Elden Ring is an action RPG set in the Lands Between, a world created by Dark Souls creator Hidetaka Miyazaki and George R. R. Martin from A Song of Ice and Fire fame. In FromSoftware’s largest game world yet, players will be able to create their own hero and navigate the lands via horseback or on foot. The mysterious Elden Ring is a power sought by many adventurers, and collecting it will bestow the title of Elden Lord of the Lands Between. Combat can be tackled head on, by stealth tactics, or by calling on allies for an assist, with an assortment of weapons, skills, and magic to utilize during combat.
