Current Final Fantasy V, VI Steam Versions Being Delisted

The current PC versions of Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI, available through Steam, will be removed from sale on July 27, 2021. The games are now referred to as the “old versions” on their store pages, with the removal coming ahead of the planned pixelated remaster releases of the first six mainline Final Fantasy titles.

Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI originally released for Super Famicom in Japan in 1994, though only Final Fantasy VI’s Super Famicom version released in North America under the title Final Fantasy III. Both games later released worldwide for PlayStation, Game Boy Advance, iOS, Android, and PC.
