Biomutant Gets New Trailer, Gameplay Footage

THQ Nordic and Experiment 101 released three new videos for action RPG Biomutant ahead of its launch this week. In addition to a six-minute explanation trailer narrated by Art and Creative Director Stefan Ljungqvist, the companies released new versions of the earlier platform gameplay videos, this time showing the game running on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The PlayStation 5 version runs at native 1080p resolution at 60 FPS, with upscaling to 4k Dynamic Resolution, while the Xbox Series X version runs at native 4k resolution at 60 FPS, with Dynamic Resolution. These videos are not based on dedicated PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game, which are planned to launch at a later date.

Biomutant takes place in a post-apocalyptic, kung fu-inspired setting where players take control of an anthropomorphized creature. As players explore the game’s open world, they are able to use mutations to customise their character and their powers. The game will launch on May 25, 2021, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
