Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster Trailer Dives into Story

Atlus released a new trailer and a small set of screenshots for the upcoming Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster. The minute-long “The World’s Rebirth” video gives an introduction to the game’s story, which takes place in a post-apocalyptic Tokyo that has been turned into the Vortex World, where cults and demons fight each other.

The game is the third mainline Shin Megami Tensei title and was released for PlayStation 2 in North America as Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne and in Europe as Shin Megami Tensei: Lucifer’s Call. The remaster includes additional difficulty modes, a suspend save option, and Japanese and English voiceover options. Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster will launch in North America and Europe on May 25, 2021, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. It will be available physically and digitally, with a Digital Deluxe Edition letting players access the game four days early on May 21, 2021.
