Project Athia Officially Titled Forspoken
During today’s Square Enix Presents presentation, Square Enix revealed that Luminous Productions’ Project Athia is officially titled Forspoken. The reveal and a new teaser trailer were introduced by actress Ella Balinska, who portrays main character Frey Holland.
Forspoken is billed by Square Enix as a “narrative-driven adventure”, though referred to by director Takeshi Aramaki as an action RPG, and set on the world of Athia. Frey is an ordinary young woman who arrives on Athia and must learn to harness magical powers in order to survive its dangers. The game is being developed for PC and PlayStation 5 and is set to launch in 2022.
