Kunio-kun Collection Hits Japan This Fall

Arc System Works has announced that it will releasing a collection of eighteen titles from the Kunio-kun series this fall in Japan. The Kunio-kun: The World Classics Collection will be released for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The titles cover both the RPG and sports genres, with the following fifteen titles confirmed to be included (four of the games are international versions of other releases, while the three others will be announced later):

  • Downtown Nekketsu Koushinkyoku
  • Nekketsu Koukou Dodge Ball Bu (original Japanese version of Super Dodge Ball)
  • Nekketsu Kakutou Densetsu
  • Nekketsu! Street Basket
  • Nekketsu Koukou Dodge Ball Bu: Soccer Hen (a version was released in the US as Nintendo World Cup)
  • Bikkuri Nekketsu Shinkiroku: Harukanaru Kin Medal (original Japanese version of Crash ‘n the Boys: Street Challenge)
  • Kunio-kun no Nekketsu Soccer League
  • Ike Ike! Nekketsu Hockey Bu (a US version was planned but cancelled)
  • Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun (original Japanese version of Renegade)
  • Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari (original Japanese version of River City Ransom)
  • Kunio-kun no Jidaigeki da yo Zen’in Shuugou!
  • Renegade (overseas release)
  • Super Dodge Ball (overseas release)
  • River City Ransom (overseas release)
  • Crash ‘n the Boys: Street Challenge (overseas release)

All eighteen of the games will support online multiplayer for up to four players at once. The collection will also feature fifty-five missions across the games; completing these missions will unlock bonuses such as avatars and nicknames for players’ online profiles, gallery illustrations, and more.
