Ys VI Mobile Release Gets Few More Details

Publisher Restar Games announced a few more details for the recently-announced mobile version of Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim. The mobile version, which is being created by developer Manhattan People, will launch for iOS and Android this spring in Japan under the title Ys VI Online: The Ark of Napishtim. The game will be free-to-play and include microtransactions.

Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim was originally released for PC in Japan in 2003, eight years after the previous title in the series, Ys V: Lost Kefin, Kingdom of Sand. The game received a PlayStation 2 version, which was published worldwide by Konami in 2005, with a PlayStation Portable version following in 2006. XSEED Games released a remastered version for PC worldwide in 2015.
